GriefPvP is a family-run Minecraft community. We collect the minimum needed to run accounts and keep the server safe — nothing is sold or shared for advertising. This page explains exactly what we hold, why, how long, and how to remove it.
What we collect
Account data: your email address and your Minecraft username (and its public Mojang UUID). These are stored in AWS Cognito and used to sign you in and link your in-game identity.
Sign-up security record: when you create an account we record your IP address, browser (user-agent), and the time, alongside your email and Minecraft username. This is used solely for security and abuse prevention (e.g. ban evasion, fraud) and is automatically deleted after 2 years.
What we do NOT collect: no payment/card details, no tracking or advertising cookies, no third-party analytics. Sign-in uses a secure session cookie only.
How we use it
To authenticate you, show your profile (your Minecraft head avatar is rendered live from your username via a third-party skin service, mc-heads.net), link forum/site identity to in-game accounts, and protect the community from abuse.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account exists. The sign-up security record auto-expires after 2 years. When you delete your account, your Cognito record and sign-up security records are removed immediately (see below).
Your rights
You can view and change your email, password, and Minecraft username at any time under Account settings. You can permanently delete your account — and the personal data we hold for it — yourself from the same page, under Danger zone. Deletion removes your Cognito login, Minecraft username, and sign-up security records, and cannot be undone.
Prefer us to handle it, or want a copy of your data? Email support@griefpvp.com and we'll action it within 30 days.
Data processors
We run on Amazon Web Services (hosting, authentication, and database). Your Minecraft avatar image is fetched from mc-heads.net. We don't share your data with anyone else.
